Each project begins with a free consultation process so we can understand your needs, ideas, uses of technology, budget and project timeline.
We will also advise you of any emerging technologies and how they may play a role in the design. We may also want to know who the builder and architect are if this is a residential new build. We will also require a full set of digital architect plans.
Initial Consultation
Design
From the information gathered at the initial consultation, we will prepare a detailed design. This can take up to 4 weeks to complete. We may need to contact you or the builder/architect for more information during this process.
Meeting
We will meet with you to present the initial design. We will look for your feedback on aesthetic, product choices and design direction. There will usually be a lot of detail to work through so putting aside a few interrupted hours is required.
Revision
Clarification from the meeting will mean there will usually be changes to the design. We will work through these changes with further feedback from you to arrive at an accepted design. From this point the accepted design is then priced.
Work
Once accepted we move to the work phase of implementing the design. We will liaise with your builder/main contractor to project manage and implement the accepted design.
Handover + Induction
Once completed we will hand over the finalised and finished work. This usually consists of any warranty documentation, software backups and passwords.
We will want to schedule an initial training and future training as requested. For residential projects there is usually a cooling off period where we will be required to make small changes after you have lived in the new home for a period.
For Commercial and civic projects group training is common and we encourage the active governance of the system and will usually offer a regular maintenance schedule to keep the system trouble free.
